The Romans kept records of crucifixions and trials. His trial and crucifixion are documented, "crucified for Treason."
Non-Christian ancient references to Jesus include, Josephus, pagan Roman authors Cornelius Tacitus, Gaius Suetonius, and Pliny the Younger & Pontius Pilate & Herod the Great. So much secular evidence exists for a historical Jesus that educated atheist's don't deny His existence, just weather or not he was nuts. You can consider whether   more...He was the Lord, a liar, or a lunatic, he did exist.
